Many times we would want to check the spelling as we type, at least in Microsoft Office it’s like that. Just like that by default, mail too checks the spelling as you type. So, many times you may lose focus on the content which we compose in mail, in this case you can set the spell check to be done after you finish composing the mail. So, let’s check out how you can set the same in your Mac OS X Mail.
Procedure to check spelling in Mac OS X Mail:
- First of all you need to open the Mail in your Mac OS X system.
- Then you need to head to Preferences and need to select the Composing tab as shown below.
- Now in the composing window, you will be able to see many options like Message format and the Check spelling. So, in the Check Spelling option, when you select the drop down box you will see options like as i type, when i click Send and never. Now, you need to select when I click Send option.
This is it, now whenever you compose the mail then spelling check will not be done until you click on Send. Any misspelled words will be underlined in Red.
