Earlier we had shared the skype for mac app which is one of the best PC to PC or PC to phone connecting messenger, and here is something about the latest stable version of Skype for Windows OS. Its Skype 4.1 for windows.
The skype 4.1 for windows has got many new features apart from the improvements from the previous version. Here are a few new features included in Skype 4.1 –
- Screen sharing – Share your screen with other skype users
- Send contacts – Send contacts from your own list to any other skype user
- Birthday reminders – Reminds you whenever any contact has a birthday
- Better call quality
- Better video quality
- Accessibility features – Keyboard navigation and MSAA support
A couple important issues that were fixed, were –
- Video was freezing approximately 30 seconds after changing the screen resolution. Now it doesn’t.
- Security vulnerability fixed in Extras Manager.
