Finally a good news for the adsense publishers in India, as Google has taken the wire transfer payment from beta to the official stage and you can now receive the funds directly to your bank account, without having to wait for a big period, ranging from one to three weeks from the time it is processed. There is a small fee charged for this, ranging from Rs. 56 to Rs. 116, but that won’t hurt much and the EFT payments would be made from next month itself.

For that to happen, you will have to hold the payment for the next cycle, by going into the payment settings and this has to be done before the processing for the next month happens – 16th March 2014. Here is how you can go to your Payment settings and change it to hold the payments.

In the Payments section, click on Payment settings and under that, the last option – Self-hold is to be checked. Click on edit self-hold.

Under the self-hold section, check the option Hold payments and click on Apply.

Once the setting is done, you would see a message Self-hold applied; payments now held. and for now, this is the only way you will know that you have made your account set for the EFT wire transfer payments, the actual settings for which you would seeing later on.

If you would like to receive this update on your account now, apply a “self-hold” to your payments. You can find this feature within the “payment settings” options. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be upgrading accounts in India with a payment self-hold to our new payments system. To be eligible for this month’s payment cycle, please make this preference change prior to Sunday, 16 March, 06:00 (AM) IST.
