Micromax "Can OWN NOW Without EMI" Ad: Challenging Samsung & Apple with Pricing

Micromax has been pretty active with their ad campaigns lately, but the recent one is good enough to challenge the bigger International brands like Samsung, Apple etc. with the pricing being the main factor. The ads that occupied full pages on the several newspapers read “CAN OWN NOW Without EMI”, explaining how easy it is to own one of the best Micromax phones by saying the same price which you would pay while taking the EMI plans for buying the Samsung / Apple smartphones.

Micromax Can Own Now Offer

Pricing of the Micromax devices which are pretty good at the sales lately:

  • Micromax Canvas 2 A110: Rs 10499
  • Micromax Canvas HD A116: Rs 14499
  • Micromax Canvas Viva: Rs 6499

Some of the Indian mobile review websites like TheMobileIndian have rated the Micromax Canvas 2 as the best smartphone in India after taking all the factors into consideration, and this includes the specifications and the pricing for what is being provided. The Canvas HD which entered the market lately, had got some good response in the market and there was a sold-out status initially after the phone was put up for sale on the official website of Micromax.

Samsung would be a bit worried about a few lesser than what they expect because of this campaign from Micromax because for those who used to rely on the monthly EMI plans from Samsung but would rather feel that paying once and getting online casino a good smartphone from the Indian brand isn”t a bad option. And this would dig directly against the Samsung EMI offer plans and the latest ad campaign they had come up with, where Samsung is selling the phones with no interest fee, no extra charges and no down payment, while providing a 15% cash back on phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note II.

Micromax Scores

Keeping the talks about Samsung aside, Apple is another brand who has always been high with the pricing, and sometimes one would just look around for other brands and devices only because of the unaffordable pricing from Apple.

With the Samsung Galaxy S4 in India being priced at Rs. 41500, the brand would not see the similar sales which it did in the past when even the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Note II were introduced into the market because there are brands like Micromax, Spice, Karbonn etc. making decent smartphones which are good enough for the smartphone level and the prices are even lesser than half the price of these from Samsung and Apple.
