Microsoft had announced the first version of the Surface tablet last year, which came in two variants – the Surface RT and the Surface Pro. While the RT version had a lot of issues with the OS, the Pro was a better one amongst the two. Microsoft has worked with the OS improvements since then, and with the announcement of the Windows 8.1 version, the company is selling the next version of the Surface tablet, the MS Surface 2 and the MS Surface Pro 2.
Both the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 are going to be available in the Black and White colors. The shipping of these devices starts from October 22nd while the pre-ordering starting today itself. The Surface 2 tablet devices are said to have a better battery life and a lot improved performance, and the design changes include a new position for the kickstand, while there are a lot of accessories to enhance the user experience.
