Paypal hits Indian customers! What next?

You would probably find no website against some company to such huge extent, like PaypalSucks that is build for people to complain, to share their sad stories and everything about Paypal scams and their innocence in that. That was just an example, the actual story lately is way ahead of it. Paypal has started playing around with every account holder from India. Removed personal payment option, and halted everything else like withdrawals etc. everything without a notification. Whatever Indian users withdrew or received during the past few days, stopped there itself or got reversed.

This is a formal e-mail that everyone received –

Hello XXXX,
Your payment of xx has been sent back to the sender of the payment.
We reversed this payment because we have stopped allowing personal payments to be sent to or from India.
If this was a payment for a purchase of goods or services, and not a personal payment, then you may contact the buyer and have him or her resend the payment as follows: (a) click the Send Money tab, (b) select “Goods,” and (c) provide a shipping address.

If this payment was a personal payment such as a gift, then we have requested that the sender find another payment method until we restore personal payments to and from India.
We are trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and we’re sorry for any inconvenience.

Thank you,
PayPal

Indian online business people have never found anything better than paypal, so always have compromised and moved on forgetting any scams, any mistakes that paypal did with their payments (I actually have lost my hundreds of dollars earlier and paypal never helped, yet could I do anything else than moving on?) just because, they never found anything that can be better than paypal for carrying out online financial transactions and linking it with the local bank accounts.

Its something to do with Government rules imposed on Indian users to verify their identity so that their international dealings can be tracked. Well, that’s fine. It can reduce scammers, but why wasn’t there a notification before taking such a step suddenly? Have paypal realized that millions of Rupees are being stuck in between due to this? Or was this just another step to loot everyone knowing that Indians have no other good option elsewhere?

Better we try some paypal alternative that works well and can replace what paypal does, except the scamming and bad customer service part.

And here is one more, that many support –
